We start with a mild cleaning to remove surface dirt and grime. We then apply patina promoting agents to help naturally oxidize the wood into an even gray color.

New teak furniture should be cleaned thoroughly if it is to be outside unprotected. We can coat your teak furniture with a protective coating to prevent mold. The wood will be coated with 3 layers of our unique teak protective cleaner. If you choose to promote the natural gray patina of your teak furniture, there are two options. With time the sun will naturally oxidize the natural oils in the teak wood, turning it gray. After several months of unprotected exposure, your teak furniture will be on its way to being gray in color. At this time we can mildly clean the wood and apply our special blend of patina promoting agents to help the furniture oxidize cleanly and evenly. Option two is applying an acid based graying agent over several weeks to promote oxidize the natural oils in the wood and turn the wood gray in color.
